Victoria has worked with a wide variety of populations including young children and adults with autism, dual diagnoses, and mental handicaps, as well as typically developing children for over 26 years. Her work experience consists of working as a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst, a Florida State-certified teacher, and a Speech-Language Pathologist in a variety of settings: developmental centres, private homes and schools. Victoria has conducted training for parents, teachers, paraprofessionals and therapists in behaviour management and skill acquisition techniques and strategies. She is a Certified Autism Specialist. Victoria presented a poster at the Applied Behaviour Analysis Convention in Atlanta, in May 2006 and was published in the International Journal of Special Education.
SPEECH AND LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST (SLP)
A speech-language pathologist with extensive experience in comprehensive evaluation and treatment of children with communicative disorders in a variety of settings. Knowledge of assessment tools, intervention, documentation and implementation of appropriate treatment goals for Individualized Education Plans. Strong ability to document client progress and effective communication skills with interdisciplinary team members.
