A professional couple residing in Hamburg, Germany, is looking to hire a Domestic Couple. The household is elegant, discreet, and professionally managed. The Principals value reliability, precision, discretion, and long-term collaboration.
The main residence is approx. 600 sqm; 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms with indoor swimming pool and sauna.
The role requires hands-on operational excellence, initiative, strong organisational ability, and a service-oriented mindset.
The couple will ensure that the property is maintained to impeccable standards and remains fully operational and presentation-ready at all times.
Duties:
Housekeeping & Property Care
– Daily cleaning and detailed housekeeping
– Care and maintenance of fine materials including antiques, leather, hardwood floors, and delicate surfaces
– Structured deep-cleaning schedule
– Systematic organisation of storage areas and wardrobes
Laundry & Wardrobe Management
– Expert care of luxury garments (cashmere, wool, delicate fabrics)
– Handwashing, ironing, steaming, and shoe care
– Minor sewing repairs and coordination of specialist services
– Wardrobe organisation
– Packing and unpacking for travel
Kitchen & Household Provisioning
– Stock management of food and beverages
– High-quality grocery shopping (markets and premium suppliers)
– Maintaining a hygienic, organised kitchen environment
– Occasional healthy home cooking for two (approx. weekly)
– Occasional formal gala lunches or dinners (approx. quarterly)
House & Estate Management
– Receiving deliveries and overseeing household security
– Coordinating maintenance and supervising external contractors
– Inventory management
– Ensuring the property remains guest-ready at all times
– Vehicle valeting coordination and service scheduling
– Light household maintenance and basic DIY
– Driving services for the Principals and guests as required
Accommodation: private apartment.
European passport. Driver's licence. Fluent English. Flexible scheduling aligned with the Principals’ presence. On-call availability required when Principals are in residence (260 days per year).
6 days per week, 8 - 10 hours per day
