A Family based in Katowice, Poland, is looking to hire a Governess for their children aged: 3 year old, 6 year old, 8 year old and twins 11,5 years old. The children are attending school in the morning/early afternoon.
The parents are hands on and they also enjoy their time with the children. The children also have a tutor.
The Family values education, play and the nurturing of individual interests in a loving and respectful environment.
The Family is interested into personalized education, based on the concept of man as a free person, capable of developing his full potential and knowing the world.
Duties:
Engaging children in language-rich activities and play.
Meal Preparation.
Encouraging the children to be engaged in physical activities and outdoor play.
Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the children.
Plan and lead educational activities, including reading, arts and crafts, and games.
Assist with homework and support educational goals.
Schedule and coordinate children’s activities (during a school year most of the free time is already planned).
Transport children to and from activities.
Perform light housekeeping tasks related to the children’s care.
Monitor and report on the children’s development and interests.
Fluent English. Knowledge of German and/or Spanish is a plus. Driver. Flexibility in the working hours in case one of the child is sick or during vacation. Flexible to travel with the family. Eligibility to work in Poland. Someone flexible in schedule, duties and unexpected changes. Someone creative and proactive in educational play, able to tailor activities to suit different age groups and learning stages.
Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
€1,000 per week
Yes, separate flat on the residence premises or a room within the mansion house.
